Porcupine House

This little cottage is perfect for an individual or couple to make into their home for a few days, or weeks, enjoying life at the Melody Hill estate.

A free standing cottage built in the heart of the property to take advantage of the surrounding views with its tall, reclaimed industrial windows. The cottage has wooden floors upstairs and down, with a wood-burning fireplace for cosy barefoot living. The bedroom upstairs is linked to an open plan bathroom with a cast iron bath that looks out through a window into the pecan orchard.

Downstairs the kitchen has a central high table for dining and a comfortable couch for lounging. There is also a small office space for work-away stays. The house has a large open stoep that leads to the labyrinth and bonfire area. Next to the house is the large grass lawn area shared with the Melody Hill house.

    The self-catering rate does not include staff to clean dishes, the kitchen or the house during your stay.

    Cell reception peaks at 4G. Uncapped WiFi is provided at the venue - the speed peaks at 10mb and weather can affect its reliability.
