Swimming pool and shady trees keeping you cool in summer, wood burning fireplaces and warm wooden floors - cosy in winter. The Retreat features a main house with three bedrooms, a large kitchen, scullery, lounge, dining room, balcony and covered veranda. Adjoined to the main building are three more bedrooms, with another three located in adjacent buildings. Together with the freestanding yoga studio the buildings all overlook the pecan-nut orchard, facing North-West along the Magalies River valley.
The builidngs were designed and built using reclaimed wood, doors and windows, providing it with a vintage French flair.
Over a decade of hosting retreats the space and staff have grown to suit the needs of the groups we host, offering a variety of picturesque spots to gather.
It has been a wonderful journey, full of partnerships, friendships and memories. With each new group Melody Hill Retreat has become more established as the perfect country-side retreat. Our regular guests and loyal clients will know that the venue is constantly improving and although full of quirky farmhouse character, it has a warm, personal atmosphere that can be hard to find elsewhere.

Melody Hill House can accomodate groups of up to 22 people sharing rooms.
There are 8 en suite bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 2-4 people per room (sharing).
A studio that is an ideal space for hosting meditation, yoga, dance and drama workshops, and can be furnished with tables for conferences.
There is a spare 9th bedroom and more beds can be arranged to add to the exisiting rooms or place on the upstairs landing (rate on request).

Catering (three meals per day) includes snacks & drinks, with a focus on wholesome, healthy, organic vegetarian food, sourced locally and prepared by our "healing through food" chefs.

- A 50% deposit is required for all bookings.
- Viewings can be arranged on available weekdays.

Yoga classes can be arranged, as well as Kahuna Massages.
The self-catering rate does not include staff to clean dishes, the kitchen or the house during your stay.
If required Melody Hill bookings can include vegetarian catering staff to provide three meals a day. We will design a menu and budget per person for the chosen culinary layout. Snacks, tea, coffee and juices will be provided. The organic ingedients are all sourced locally and prepared by our proffessional chefs.
Cell reception peaks at 4G. Uncapped WiFi is provided at the house - the speed peaks at 5mb down and 1mb up.
